STATE OF SHOCK

This transplant hasn't changed in three months..at all. Odd.
It hasn't grown, dropped leaves, added leaves, changed color or run a temperature..nuttin'.
It's a State of Shock!

1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14, 15....aw, hell

More privets than you can you can count..only not in a good way.
That's right - too many.
I had to record my first D.U.P.E. (decidedly unpleasant privet experience).
That whole 'invasive' business? Yeah, I see what they mean there.
I was out at my parents, helping out with some yard work and such...weeding the garden and I see a whole sea of teeny tiny privet sprouts under the big huge hedge they have. Now, I like to see some volunteer privets, but this was too much.
I couldn't help myself, I had to snag 6 or 8 of 'em, but the rest...(gulp) I had to just take 'em out like so much chickweed and it sucked.
It's not like they're rare..I mean there were hundreds! Still, I hated to throw 'em out...but I had no choice..it would have been like naming frog eggs.
It's all good. Perhaps I could set up a gig arranging potted privets as temporary mazes for high school football fundraisers or whatever.
I could maybe find some use for that many...or I could try to lead a normal life.
